The State Office for Criminal Investigation Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Landeskriminalamt in partnership with the Ministry of Internal Affairs from Romania – coordinator, the Federal Criminal Police Office from Austria Bundeskriminalamt, the Institute of Education Sciences from Romania and www.ecg.eu GmbH implement the project “Strategic partnership for improving training in law enforcement public institutions project/Forming, Partnering, Enforcing and Performing”.

The overall objective of the project is to develop a strategic partnership among similar institutions and with specialized organizations aimed to improve the quality of continuous training, to achieve institutional modernization and, furthermore, to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the duties performed daily by structures of the public order and safety system.

The common objective of the partner institutions is to improve their professional training policies by developing a curriculum that includes innovative methods of formal and non-formal learning. This project aims to improve work environment by introducing new methods of non-formal training and enhance their quality and relevance.

 

 

At the end of the project implementation period, following results will be achieved:

  • Policy learning and collection of good practices
  • Training needs analysis
  • Curriculum development
  • Train the trainers program – training sessions organization and implementation
  • Piloting the non-formal methods
  • Monitoring and evaluation instruments for non-formal training process
  • Strategic documents development
  • Platform for online training system through non-formal methods.

In order to maintain an efficient communication relationship among partner institutions, 4 transnational meetings are going to be organized. The 1st transnational meeting took place in Bucharest, 2-3 July 2015, when partner institutions’ representatives agreed the implementation plan, the functioning rules within the project and set off intellectual outputs activities. On the 17th of September 2015, the first online conference was organized. On this occasion, partner institutions’ representatives presented and discussed project intellectual outputs progress.

The project “Strategic partnership for improving training in law enforcement public institutions project/Forming, Partnering, Enforcing and Performing” is financed by the European Commission through the ERASMUS+ Program. The budget of the project is 126.776 Euro. Project implementation period is 31.12.2014 – 28.02.2017.
