www.ecg.eu GmbH has been an IT service provider and auditor for European and national funding for over 30 years. I am pleased to say that our clients have always been satisfied with the services and work results that we provide.
It has always been extremely important for me to give the company a stable and long-term orientation and this includes a trusting and successful cooperation with my clients.
This is one of the reasons why I felt compelled at the beginning of 2022 to finally think about a successor who would take over the business of ECG and continue it in the same high quality our clients grew accustomed with; After all, it should continue, even if I’m no longer the owner and managing director at a certain point in time.
I would like to inform you that the search for a successor was successfully completed last year. IBYKUS AG (https://www.ibykus.de/) took over www.ecg.eu GmbH on December 29, 2022 and assumes all rights and obligations of www.ecg.eu GmbH.
The takeover offers advantages for both companies: with the acquisition of ECG, IBYKUS AG not only gains additional market share, but also supplements its portfolio in the area of subsidy management. For ECG, the purchase opens up markets and resources that it was previously unable to serve. This has already proven itself in the past year – through successful cooperation in various projects and through successful participation in tenders, which both companies on their own would not have been able to serve before. For me personally, it is very gratifying that the future is secured for many, many years for both my colleagues and my clients.
ECG will remain an independent company, so there will be no changes and I myself will remain as managing director of www.ecg.eu GmbH at least until December 31, 2023. To ensure that the transition is well prepared, Mr. Thomas Winter will take over the management together with me from 2023 in addition to his role as CEO of IBYKUS AG.
This message is not intended to herald a short-term farewell, but I would just like to inform you about the changes in the shareholder structure.
