Qualified IT work planner (m/f/d)

In your function as IT work planner, you are responsible for the planning, monitoring and control of the development tasks based on our standard software for the completion of new software functionalities and the maintenance tasks of our existing software applications. You ensure that the processes and interfaces defined in the company, from planning to delivery of software, are adhered to on time and meet the specified quality requirements.

Your tasks:

  • Planning, monitoring and controlling our IT tasks using JIRA planning functions and internal company software
  • Independent creation and prioritization of weekly and monthly work plans for the development of new functionalities and maintenance tasks, taking into account completion dates and effort calculations
  • Implementation of workflow planning (definition of processes and sequence within IT planning); Plan and monitor work processes, work sequences and time data of complex IT tasks according to business knowledge
  • Reporting to IT management at set intervals
  • In coordination with the IT management, you plan and initiate controlling measures to eliminate or minimize scheduling, factual, personnel problems and risks
  • Ensuring optimal utilization of the available human resources, avoiding idle runs
  • Initiate and monitor measures for process optimization and compliance with completion dates
  • Structure and application of early warning systems
  • Calculate and check production costs, calculation according to company specifications
  • Implementation of optimization projects within IT

Your professional profile:

  • Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, IT management or a comparable subject
  • High level of technical understanding of the sequence of IT processes
  • Knowledge of IT planning tools (e.g. JIRA) desirable
  • Several years of professional experience in IT work planning/preparation are an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills as well as a confident and assertive demeanor
  • Affinity for agile working methods
