To this end, we develop consulting and service concepts and high-performance IT management and support systems that enable our clients, customers and users to carry out targeted daily control and guide them through the necessary application and billing processes.
With our software development, we were able to take a new, innovative path by equipping our software with complex customization. As a result, the task areas and responsibilities in the software development processes as well as the tasks and processes of release and deployment management are shifting.

Deployment Manager (m/f/d)
In your role as Deployment Manager, you are responsible for planning and executing deployments and ensuring that releases are properly controlled, tested and implemented.
Your tasks:
- You implement individual deployment requirements within releases, patches or configuration changes, in particular the coordination, evaluation and planning of software tests, patches and releases
- You check the deployment process in terms of effectiveness/efficiency and ensure compliance with specifications and standards
- Coordination of requirements and necessary prerequisites with our service providers/hosters and, if necessary, also with customers
- The continuous improvement of the deployment processes – based on the current (project) requirements – is also one of your tasks as well as the creation of the documentation, which can be used by all parties involved
- You solve operational problems during the start-up phase after the rollout of a release (elimination of errors and/or defects)
- Establishing suitable deployment tools and ensuring that these tools are ready for use, automated and integrated round off your tasks
Your professional profile:
- Completed degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable education
- At least three years of professional experience in the area of software deployment and configuration
- General knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows, macOS)
- Sound knowledge of release management, software rollout as well as configuration and build management – especially with Atlassian Bamboo (also administrative) and JIRA
- Knowledge of versioning systems (GIT) and a general understanding of common application architectures in the Java Enterprise environment
- Experience in software development and distribution and a good understanding of Continuous Integration (CI/CD, DevOps)
- Basic knowledge of network technology and security as well as relational databases
- General knowledge of programming / automation with CLI, Bash, Python, etc.
- Knowledge of service, quality and test management
- Experience with test coordination and control as well as test automation and unit testing is desirable
- Experience in deploying JBoss EAP/clustering is recommended
